These would probably be OK provided you don't do any running in them.
Used to be, everyone cautioned that cheap shoes have poor support, but nowadays the latest rage is shoes with the least support possible so your feet use their built-in suspension system instead. To me the important factor seems to be concrete, whether you're standing let alone running on it for long enough that the impact is too great in cheap shoes.
