Shop4Tech.com has the PS3 BluWave Remote Control for $20 - 10% code FM10 [Exp 2/15] = $18 with free shipping. This is not the OEM Bluetooth remote, as it operates via a USB dongle that connects to your PS3's front USB port. It also allows other universal remotes (such as Harmony) to work with the PS3, albeit without On/Off functionality. [Review : BizRate]

By itself, this is a turd, pay the $25 for the full featured Sony Bluetooth remote. This has about half the buttons (and more granular control).

!BUT! this thing is fantastic for integrating IR to your PS3 and using your Harmony to control it. You won't be able to do power on/off, but you will get about 75% functionality and it's more than enough to watch movies and do some tweaking. The biggest problem is that is does NOT have a PS button, so there is a lot of control you give up with this remote (or your Harmony using the IR adapter).

If you need IR capabilities this is about the best option out there.

I wouldn't pay over $15 for it though.

As stated, there is no PS button, so you can't use it to power on the PS3. There are also no number keys.

It has a slight delay between the key press and the action (less than a second).

This is the first I've heard about IR ability with the PS3. Are there any other options?

    yes I have the PS3IRX1 from www.schmartz.com

It is a little more expensive, but it blends into the PS3 so well that most people will never even know it is there.
