psp 3000 sounds like the same specs as the star wars psp that was put out last Christmas??? Also is the psp3000 the one that is in stores with the ratchet and clank linked up game?

I believe #5 is right. The PSP 3000 is already out for about $200. The added accessories and games actually make up for the difference in price with this.
I prefer this version. New version has many display issues.

3000's screen is questionable
where else can this (new) be had for = or < than $144 --- I'd rather buy from the egg or the like if that's possible
