I love this game. It's fairly easy to learn and is almost pure strategy (rather than luck based). You do need more than two people to play it, unless you use the two-player variant (which makes for a slightly different game).

I like the Cuba board game. You win by making a raft or getting shot. Either way your off the island.
Paid a lot more for this ages ago. Worth it.
