Sears.com has the Racor PBH-1R ProStor Bicycle Hoist Monster on sale for $15 + $5 shipping = $20 shipped. Store your bike safely from the ceiling of your garage; Solid steel construction delivers a 55-pound load capacity.
Might be pointless unless you are planning on storing stuff underneath it. Otherwise the bike can stay on the ground.
What would be nice is if they re-engineered it with an additional adjustable pulley so you could attach the cable to your garage door opener, so that opening the door lowers the bike and vice-versa.
Have these. OK for the price, but make sure you pick them up at store.
Or if you have a harbor freight store near you, pick it up there for even cheaper.

lift it up yourself
Only good if your not planning on storing stuff underneath it.
note also that the rider MUST NOT be on the bicycle when you hoist it.

Sounds like a good DIY project, #6
Gotta get one of these. Or maybe I should get a bike first...
You can actually hang yourself with one of these.
I'd like to artfully hang bikes on my ceiling.
