I'd still rather hop on this thing than try my luck with on of the Segways - they were recalled right? I must say that those things were monsters if someone actually used them to go up and down sidewalks.
Kids don't want these anymore. The only one's I see on these nowadays ar ethe little kids (6 and under) who don't know any better. The bike seems to have come back in vogue.
I don't know about the bike, I hear those annoying motorized scooters all the time. I remember people used these to get around in college. I don't know how efficent at getting from point A to point B verses walking but at least you can fold it up and take it with you.
Not recommended for offroad use.. Trust me, tree roots and even fist sized rocks are a bitch!

The kids in our neighborhood use these all the time. They are great, and at this price, make great Christmas gifts.
My kids (ages 9 & 12) still use these. We don't have this model, but they work well for neighborhood travels.
My 90 year-old GrandPa still uses his everyday. He got rid of his 4-legged walker when that new 70 year-old floozie moved into the nursing home.
I picked up the cheaper knockoffs of these a couple of years ago and my 11 year old still uses hers.
The standard Razor is $26-28 at Walmart.
The one with larger wheels is about $10-12 more.
Not sure exactly where this model falls in the line-up. But don't really think this is that great of a deal.
We average 2-3 new Razor Scooters a year as the wheels disentigrate under hard use over time.
They are great for bike trails, neighborhoods, and streets near the beach. Fun for adults too, if you still have your skills.
does anyone have any experience with Wenzel brand? good or no?
First mobile phones, then PDAs, keyboards, mice and now tents?
Is there no stopping beartooth technology?
