Such a waste of recourses. Once the blades break which on most are within the first couple uses trying to learn how to fly it you can't replace the parts. So its garbage.
just wait, I'm sure they will integrate pan/tilt/zoom spy cams on these soon. 100 feet does not seem like a very long distance.
It would be really cool to have a sort of wikipedia-type google earth made up of picture from people's model airplanes and helicopters. You'd get much better resolution, with the right cameras.
The military already has glider-type mini airplanes that you can hold in your hand that will fly for miles and send video surveillance back to outposts...
The only time I've had a successful helicopter ownership experience was when I bought the $20 helicopter from Costco and flew it around my apartment. Only goes for about 3 very fun minutes before recharging, but doesn't break.
Damn these helos are fun!

Try being careful when your first 'learning' the helo and not think it's a regular toy you can just pick up and start flying around like airwolf.
the army should mount cameras on these and spy on the terrorists in Iraq.
for the 10 minutes of footage?
It won't even get 100ft before you "lose control" of the thing.
Thanks #2 and #3: Guess as a newbie I should buy the $20 one before graduating to this one.

This looks like a fun toy to have!
Any of the channels HBO?

#4, Uh, the army already does that.

Fly a 100 of these over your local town.
