Walmart has the RCA 42PA30RQ 42" 720p 600Hz Plasma HDTV for $399 with free site to store shipping or $40 shipping to home. Features a 720p resolution, ATSC tuner, 176/176 H/V viewing angles, 600Hz, and 500 cd/m2 brightness.
Yea, but most all "720p" plasma screens are 1024x768, which means you're still losing some resolution (1280x720 being "true" 720p, most 720p lcds have a physical count of 1366x768)
720p - ah no.
OLD technology and dated. Might as well ask RCA to ship one of their wooden B/W models consoles cabinets with the record player in it. lol
This unit should be $200 max.
pretty sure the only 1080p source right now is blue ray.. DVD, hd cable, hd satellite.. all 720p/1080i
its all a gimmick, especially on a 42" set, 720p is perfect
