Looks like only one port is 2.1 amp:
2 USB outlets allow fast, full speed charging for 2 smartphones or 1 tablet
Optimized 2.1 amp outlet for iPad
I am not sure why this listed as a deal. It has always been $14.99 in Lowes.
#2 some people knew, some didn't.
I'm not sure why you'd want one that covers two outlets then gives you one outlet back when you can buy a 2 port USB power brick that only takes up one outlet... unless they made it the way I would've, so it really only needs one outlet and you can hang it down lower than the top wall outlet so you still have two outlets to use with it plugged in.
I got one of these ( http://www.gizmag.com/power2u-ac-usb-wall-outlet/21042/ ), as it powers off the USB when not in use. I little fiddly to install, but looks fine, and you don't give up a power outlet.
^ better but they want $25 (+ S/H?), for that much I'd just buy one of those 6 outlet adapters ($3.50, http://www.lowes.com/pd_72587-334-1146W-SP-L_4294753691_4294937087_?productId=1099227 ) and a regular USB plug-in for $5-10 (but not one of those generic Chinese specials for $1, don't trust them much). Wouldn't look as sleek but I'd be ahead at least 2 more outlets, maybe 4 more if the USB pack didn't block one next to it.
