I have a few of the robo gift cards from Best Buy that look surprisingly like this but much more tacky. I gave them to my coworker, who uses sandpaper to rapidly remove the tacky printing on them, then programs in a message and glues all the buttons but the power button. Then he leaves it in a geocaching stash. They are apparently quite a hit with the ... geocaching crowd. This would be substantially less tacky, and you can wear it on your shirt without modification.
