Those are not correct price for now. The 32GB iPod Touch (cur gen) is $249 for Refurbished.

Apple Store refurbs are the way to go. They back them same as brand new, but the prices are tupically %20 or so off. These prices look wrong, however. Go look at the Apple site and see. Pretty sure the 120GB Classics are $199, for instance, and the 80GB's $169.

I bought a nano refurb 8GB a while back and it was basically new when it arrived.

#6, ditto. The outside, at least, is cosmetically perfect. I did have an issue with a 2nd gen nano refurb I got, but the Apple Store replaced it. My 3rd gen is working just fine still.

Apple just upgraded everything, so "current generation" means last generation. The new Nano has a camera, for example.

The shuffle prices are especially lame, considering the new shuffle is $59 for the 2GB model, and that is already a horrible price for such a featureless mp3 player.

I think they warrant the refurbs the same as the new units - "Covered by Apple's One-Year Limited Warranty" The refurb 16 Gb Nanos are now $129 at the site - they were $149 the previous time I checked (possibly a couple weeks ago). I spent $175 for my kid's 16 Gb Nano on sale a Best Buy back in June (had gift cards to use up).

Was just on Apples iTouch Refurb site. Saw a 2nd generation 8GB iTouch for $149.
      Prices are falling, slowly
