I have 1 original iPhone refurb and 1 3G and they are both flawless.
No problems and are in New Condition.
They come in a refurb AT&T box, manual, 1 wall charger and 1 earphone.

I hate that AT&T locks u with the 2 years contract. Then u can't upgrade that soon.

You can upgrade to a newer model iPhone. However, your 2 years starts over every time you do.

Of course apple has a new model coming up.
Every 5 days they change something cosmetic and all the apple fanboys obediently stand in line, cash in their hot little hands, waiting for the store to open.
If it weren't so humorous, it would be really sad.
Kudos to the apple marketing machine for brainwashing such a large number of people into buying fragile over-priced crap.

Also the IPHONE 3.o Software is comming out on the 17th !! 5 More days to go!!!

Im hoping for MMS and Copy and Paste and Video capability.

Apple has been holding out on us for a long time on these features.

These are simple features that even FREE phones have.

#6, if you knew what you were talking about, you'd be dangerous.

If you want empirical proof of the Apple revision cycle, which is generally about _one year_ between revisions, see this site: http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/

#6 I agree but only partially. I do agree that apple stuff is way over priced but I got my iphone for $199 There are phones out there a lot more expensive than this.

Also I can't argue with the over all quality of the Apple products. They make GOOD stuff.

But I do have my gripes against apple. Like holding out on simple features on the iphone like MMS, Video, copy n paste.

We should of had this from the get go.

    Damn you APPLE!

Get back in line with your cash ready #9.
Only a fanboy would be chasing rumor sites for the next model.
I see you are admitting to churning your electronics every year just to upgrade to the latest model.
Have you thought of attending apple fanboys anonymous to cure yourself from this cult's brainwashing before all your money is siphoned away?
    This is apple's "economic stimulus".
They send out some rumors of a new color which stimulates the previously implanted fanboy buying urge. The fanboy is powerless to resist, opening up the wallet and handing all the contents to apple.

From 5 days to one year. You're making progress with your battle with reality, I see.

I've been buying Apple product since 1986. Sometimes I keep one of their products for years, other times (if I don't like it) I keep it a few months. I bought the original iPhone the day it came out, and still use it.

Apple-haters have a hard time with Apple, often because they think people that buy Apple product use it because other people say they should. Most of us use it because (1) it works, (2) Apple's build quality is world-class, (3) resale value is often in the range of 50% to 80% of the original price.

I'd buy you a Mac if I thought you'd actually give it a chance.

This seems like a good discussion to ask, "What are some of the BEST alternatives to the iPhone?".

I've had my first cell nearly two years now, a Moto Razr V3, but when this contract is up (in June) I want to get something better.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

Same situation here. I'm looking to upgrade an old and simple LG phone to something that can run a full email client. iPhone looks great, but I don't want the $30/mo two-year data plan commitment. Same issue with BlackBerry. So I looked at Blackjack 2 which is MSFT stuff but reviews decently. Looks like a possibility. Then there's a bunch of new iPhone look-a-likes, but given that they all seem to require the same data plan, you might as well go iPhone which is basically the best of the bunch. Seems like that old LG is looking better and beter every day...

I like my phone. No KB at all. I talk and it just works. An apple fanboy said my Kindle was for a "niche" market. LOL No fees or contract.
