Ends at 9PM PT. 1SaleADay has the Ricoh 406943 Aficio SP100e Desktop Laser Printer for $40 with free shipping. Currently priced around $96 and up elsewhere. Features 10,000 page duty cycle, 50-sheet paper tray, and 1200 x 600 dpi printing resolution. Low-profile printer similar in form factor to the HP Envy printers but half the price.
The "e" model is the European 220v version. Mostly useless in North America, i wish they would tel, you this in the specs. I ordered last time and when i confronted them on this, they quickly cancelled my order.
It states the starter cartage (included) is only good for 500 pages - i found the replacement cartage's for about $50 - 2000 pages? - they never last as long as advertised.
Just about any sub-$100 printer, and even higher than that, comes with a starter rather than full capacity toner cart. I didn't see any generic bulk refill kits on eBay though so it may have a significantly higher operating expense than many.
It seems pretty odd to me that they would make both a 110V and 220V version, more economical to just put a full range PSU in it than two separate parts for different regions, though what seems more likely to me is which power cord they include, what the terminating plug on the power cord is per region. In other words I'm wondering if this work work on 110V US even if meant for Europe by supplying your own standard IEC /C13 socket end, power cord (same thing that plugs into your PC PSU).
Keep in mind that most printers aren't this slim for a reason. Reducing gear size and feed mechanisms tend to cause shorter lifespan as well as less tolerance to thicker paper and paper at non-optimal humidity level, the latter two causing more jams and less tolerance for printing envelopes, etc.

Yeah, search for replacement toner seems to support #1's point.
Leothelion says it's available for $96 elsewhere. Where exactly??
It seems this product has a region A and region B - both with the same model number "e"

I would really like to try it - does anyone know how to find out if this is the USA version (region B) ?
and usually units like this only come with starter cartridges, not a full one

e means eco, doesn't it?
I know some inkjet printer has replaceable psu, but most laser printer has full-rage psu.
