and the memory slot would be for what? from what I understand roku does not play anything other than internet video streaming. Damn shame because I would have been all over this if it was capable of streaming my own content.
True....it's a internet video streamer, but the various "channel" and "private channels" give alot of options to play internet based content.
The microSD slot lets you add more storage space to the player. You can use that extra space to store games or other Roku "channels" (ie: apps).
I thought it was a video player like the WDTV Live? You really can't play your own videos?
