I'd go with burton, k2 or nitro instead.
Snowboard deals go on all summer on the previous years boards. Basically REI is trying to dump off the old stock, like everyone else.
As for the Manual, it's a pretty good ride, not top notch but a good middle ground board for all terrain types.
Too short and fat for me. Too bad as the price is good.
