I would imagine there are already enough knives in the world to keep supporters of McCain and Obama more than happy.
Clinton? His/her knives are blunt due to overuse.
Note that these knives are made with 420 stainless steel. Higher quality knives are made with 440 stainless steel, as it's harder and better at keeping a sharp edge.
The fact is, you aren't going to get a high quality knife set for $40. If you want knives that will last, and stay sharp, you're going to have to spend a lot more.
Ronco? Is this the same outfit that gave us all that "As seen on TV" crap in the 80s and 90s? Say it ain't so!
Yes, #3. The very guy that coined the term "Set it and forget it" and came up with that spray-on hair.
Ron Popeil (spelling?)...
Pocket Fisherman
Food Dehydrator (for making your own beef jerky and fruit rollups)
Spaghetti Maker
He's done it all. He is master of all that is seen on TV.
Hey #2, have you posted pictures of your robot fight yet?
#2 is now a knife expert? Damn, I guess it's not just technology, it's all wonders of life.
FYI, I bought the Miracle Blade set for <$40 and have been using the knives for more than 3 years now. They are still as sharp as when I bought them and is probably the best knife set I've ever owned. That being said, I've also never owned a knife set that was over $150 either. I'd rather have a good knife set for <$40 then spend over $200 for a set that may or may not be better.
Incidentally, those in the restaurant business very often buy cheap knives like these for food prep in the kitchen. When they begin to dull, they just toss them out and buy new ones. FAR easier than worrying about sharpening and care of really nice knives for straight kitchen work.
Comes with a free pocket fisherman!
#7: well, I know that you're lying. I too have a set of miracle blade knives, and they've become so dull, they have trouble getting through pretty much anything. The steak knives are so dull that trying to cut an orange with one mutilates the orange and makes a lot of orange juice. The scissors that came with it have cracked and fallen apart. I know a friend who was using the Miracle Blade fillet knife, only to have the blade pop out of the handle, and stick into the ceiling above his head. The Miracle blade knives are made in China out of cheap stainless steel, and have partial tang construction. They dull quickly and break easily.
If you want high quality knives, you really may want to look into Cutco. They cost less than other high quality knives like Henkels and Wustoff, and have a forever guarantee(longer than lifetime, Henkels only has a 2 month guarantee against defects). Their Double-D serrated edge knives stay sharp for many years(the company will re-sharpen them for free whenever they get dull), and all their knives are made from 440A High Carbon Stainless Steel, much better than the softer 420 stuff. Plus, due to their Wedge-lock handle design, Cutco knives are the only knives in the world recommended by the Arthritis Association of America for people with arthritis.
Do they use leaky caps in this set? How about the ripple on the blades?
In Japan, the hand can be used like a knife...but it can't cut a tomato! The amazing incredible Ginsu knife can cut a tomato! It can cut a diamond! It can even cut your hand!
How much would you pay for a knife like this?
Funny, #10, that you say that you know I'm lying. I gave you a real review of my experience with the Miracle Blade set that I bought a few years ago from JC Penney for <$40. I'm not exactly sure what you are doing with your knives and scissors to have such experiences, but maybe you should stick to cutting steaks with your steak knives instead of trying to saw through your power supplies so you can give "proper" reviews of them.
Maybe I got lucky and got an actual good set, but my brother bought a set from JC Penney before me and his are still going strong to this day as well. I guess real life personal experiences aren't good for someone like you. Maybe I should go and cut and paste some reviews from people that may or may not own the item they are reviewing and you will be happy with that.
#10 Must be a Cutco employee. I worked for them in college for about 3 weeks. (they train you to use your relatives/friends and pressure them into buying your knives)
I have had the Miracle Blades for over 3 years now. Mine are still great. Even if they were to dull, you can get them resharpened if u just pay shipping to mail them back (although I don't know the details since I havn't needed it)
I gave my parents the Cutco ones I had from the short period I worked there.
