Fan is an air intake. Air is expelled out the back.

More importantly, does anybody know if this will accept a 2TB drive? The Newegg spec says, "up to 1.5TB". Does that mean they wrote the spec before 2TB drives existed, or does it mean that anything larger than 1.5TB won't work in it?

I have this case, it's very nice. Air is intake and it vents out the front. The fan is very silent but seems to get enough air flow. Only down side is it only works when laying flat with nothing on top of it.
