Newegg has the Rosewill 7-Watt A19 LED Globe Light Bulb, Natural White (A19N7WNWE26) for $15 - $3 off with coupon code AFNJ0390 [Exp 3/24] = $12 with free shipping. Meant to replace a 55w incandescent bulb and only uses 7W of power.
Specs are misleading. A 7 watt LED will generate about 600 lumens and replace a 40 watt incandescent bulb. Also color temp is listed as 4,500 degrees which is blue.
To replace a 55 to 60 watt incandescent you need a 12 watt LED generating 800 lumens at 2,700 to 3,000 degrees K.
Yeah I don't trust Rosewill specs at all for LED products. Bought a headlamp from "them" (meaning it's just NE's house brand, same address even) and in a review mentioned the fake specs and a CSR had the nerve to try to deny it in a reply.
As for this bulb, something is odd since it looks to either have white anodized cast aluminum heatsink fins (almost unheard of?) or plastic faux fins.
Also they rate it at 270mA input current. That's 30W, which would melt it as designed.
