couple of things...
you can't use this to charge rechargeable batteries, like for power tools.
dont even think about getting anywhere near 800w peak power out of this.
^ Why can't you use it to recharge power tool batteries or others?
It may depend a lot on the design of the charger. Some convert straight from mains AC into the pulsed output DC to charge the battery while some have an intermediary step down transformer and smoothing capacitors added.
I used the other one of these without USB that's $20 to charge a laptop.
