This is a very handy little device. I have a large power inverter for my car and it's nice but a slim line one with a USB port would be awesome. Definitely worth picking up for a measly $10
They are very handy, but be sure to get one that fulfills your needs. Running a game system in the car while traveling with this one probably won't work.
TERRIBLE reviews on Newegg. Won't charge iPods, people are having trouble charging laptops, and apparently the fan is extremely loud. Otherwise, this would be an amazing deal, but I'm definitely wary.
definitely, people have a tendency to not look at the wattage. If iPods weren't such pieces of proprietary garbage they would have no problems. But this isn't meant to power your laptops, this was meant to power smaller devices (even iPods), like MP3 players, bluetooth headsets, cell phones, etc
#4 - a laptop should not be a problem for this thing. Mine uses a whopping 40W at most, my netbook probably a lot less. Plugging your PS3, or a toaster oven into it will likely kill it, but it isn't designed for that.
Ordered this and got next day. Seems to work fine for me. Nice and compact. So far I have used it to charge my cell phone with the AC adapter as my car charger died. Made more sence to buy this than to order another car charger.
