Newegg has the Rosewill RCP-6003 Patented 5" Anti-skid Cushion for GPS for $15 - $5 off with coupon code EMCNEGJ222 [Exp 6/6] = $10 with free shipping. Features silicon friction material, 5" diameter with a 3.5" plate, weighted with 100% stainless steel balls, and is compatible with every suction cup bracket available.
Do the stainless steel balls add value to the product or would it work even better in the summer if they were replaced with gummi bears?
If you are in a collision there's a good chance someone is taking 2.24lbs of stainless steel balls to the face along with whatever hunk of electronic it's holding.
I'd "steer" clear, or buy Dave's gummi conversion step-by-step guide.
well you could just make a face mask out of gummi bears... Although, I'm not so sure it's any worse to hit a cushion or GPS with your head instead of the windshield, otherwise the airbag should fling all this type of stuff out of the way.
so if you get into a car wreck, you will be taking balls to face.
The kinda-level quick injection surface doesn't hold a suction cup well. If you happen to have a mirror about the same size to glue in place, it might be worth considering.
That's it. All this talk has me freaked out.
Turn by turn navigation on. Phone stays in cup holder.
I eat Dave's gummis.
Balls of steel usually brings forth positive comments.
