For 3 to 4 weeks I have getting the messages in my system tray in Windows 7 saying that a USB device has just disconnected, reconnected, needs drivers, is not utilizing the fastest speed of USB 0 Some days they come about every 20 seconds. I couldn't find out why. My existing Super Talent card reader, which I never use because it doesn't need some kind of card that is in my camera, also has a pilot light. It started flickering. Well not a pilot light, and in use light. It is not listed in device manager by name. In fact it is the only device not listed by name. The dreaded "Other Device." So, I am happily in for one. I just hope it fits. My old one is a three and a half inch form factor in a 5 inch bay with a back panel. More info than you want to know.
Wow! They still sell these things? People actually buy them?
Any suggest for better replacement ?
This model has SDHC compatibility, so it will be around for a while, until, like #2 stated, better replacement comes up.
