I have this. The "four programmable buttons" are a myth. [Leo: Take note.] The two buttons on the left side are hard-wired to function as the forward and back functions in your browser. The button behind the scroll wheel cycles the mouse through its three sensitivity settings. The rest of it works like any other mouse. IF the thingie on the extreme right is another button, mine doesn't have it, but I doubt it's any more useful than the rest.
If you're wanting a cheep laser mouse; this is ok, but it's no great shakes.
