I'm impressed by how well this thing works - at least as well as an 8' wire one from Radio Shack. As it's small and unobtrusive, you can mount it outside without it being an eyesore. Needs the FM filter to pick up anything for me, as my nearest transmitters are ~25 miles away.

^ Thanks for the link but they're a little pessimistic... claim I need a medium to large directional antenna to pick up most stations that I do pick up with a small set top omni antenna. YMMV.
