Pretty good reception - they quote 40 miles, and I'm seeing stuff from about 35 miles away just fine.
I got one of these (different brand - monoprice.com brand) for about double the price shipped. Had a 50 mile range. But I couldn't get a single channel until I mounted it on the roof. Even then, I only got a handful of English channels, the only decent channel I could get was NBC.
