Good device, and the cheapest I've seen it by $3. I bet they are dumping inventory in prep to selling the USB v3 model.
Yep, gone are the days when they'd throw one in free as a combo special with a $50 ~1TB HDD. That's when I got mine and have been using it continuously without any problems. Great (except for the slow USB2 speed but I can wait) for making offline backups where you only have the HDD itself to store away.
