Not a very good deal.
I bought this same set BRAND NEW at Home Depot on Saturday for $130 and I was able to take it home and use it right away.
I suggest getting the lithium ion ones. The batteries go flat if it sits around. The charger doesn't maintain the batteries either.
They have these on special after Father's day.
Is Ryobi a good brand for cordless tools?
Its 2nd tier after Dewalt and Makita. Good for occasional users.
I second the Lith Ion battery or Green ones. They will last longer. I have had two Ryobi drills. Very happy with them. But the batteries die after about 2 years.
2nd tier as other have stated. Great for personal/home use. But not contractor grade.
But still not a great deal. You don't want just the drill. You really want the impact driver!
