Plan on spending another $100+.
Why wouldn't they just offer the whole package with battery and charger ? Cordless sounds like a great idea but this is pretty much useless without the rest. You would have to be a rodeo cowboy to think this was a deal .

#3 -- I wouldn't have taken you as an appealing to the fine arts and literature.
Looks like a Solenoid (ie Wagner) would be better as HVLP system? I'd think a solenoid type would be hard on battery life.
