I got one of these a couple of months ago. It works well with an old laptop drive I had. USB Y cable in case your PC doesn't provide enough power from one. I wouldn't buy a new Hard drive for it the SATA drives are a lot cheaper.

ive got one and it worked ok. dont use it anymore. the Y cable is stupid - couldnt use it on my old laptop with only one usb. worked perfect on my unslung nslu2

i now use the Y cable to charge my cell phone on computer without connecting data.
