Egg's site is showing $44.95 but ships 3-Day free.
I'd like one but my tray slot is only 18.62 inches. I sure like to see one in real life to see if I could mod the bumps off it to get the length down. My luck would be I'd get one that has problems later and voided the warranty.

#1, the bumps can't be very effectively removed. The bumps are where the screws go that bolt the keyboard together, so you'd both have to remove the bumps and probably epoxy the keyboard back together. Doesn't seem worth it.

Binaryvisions – Thank for that response… I figured someone out there is smashing away on one would provide top notch insight. When I remodel that end of the house we plan to do a whole wall for two computers and you'll bet wide-ass keyboard trays.
Ben This New Layout is a improvement… nice to see you spending your cash on us. Wink

For you cyanophobics - the keyboard doesn't have to be blue. There are 3 LED color choices: Blue, Purple or Red. But, if you are reading this, you must be horrified by how much blue is on this website!!

I have been using Saitek lighted keyboards for a couple of years now, they are worth every penny. Best keyboard I have owned.

Once you use a lighted keyboard, you will wonder how you ever got by without one!

The First Gen Saitek keyboard has a better backlight... what I mean is that it's brighter.

4 years ago I bought a lumenix keyboard (don't even know if the company exists anymore). I paid about 100 back then. Now look at the deal you get.

Good feeling keyboard, but I have a problem with my saitek and my MSI motherboard. My MB sometimes won't recognize the saitek keyboard as a keyboard! So sometimes I have to connect my old Microsoft keyboard AND my saitek, to get it to boot up. strange...

Saitek makes great keyboards. I have the Eclipse1 and it's working great 8 months later.
