Monitors have brightness control for a reason, so you can see your keyboard and mouse in the dark.
Well, to be fair, my keyboard is on an under-desktop keyboard tray/drawer, and the monitor casts a shadow over the keyboard. Also, turning the monitor's brightness up makes it harder to see the keyboard when you look down.

This needs to go down to $15. Does the paint still rub off the keys making the letters unreadable?

Those high school gamers, spend their parent's money like crazy... Look at those newbies on eBay, ruin every auction, paying higher price than Newegg or Amazon. Sellers must be happy though...
#6 the keys on mine look fine but the silver has worn off on the bottom near the space bar. Still love this keyboard, good feel to it.
