Wow this is so mine. The Eclipse II is amazing, especially for 40 dollars.
It shines around the keys? Fux dat shite. I want the letters and numbers to glow on the keys.
Spend a few extra bucks and go with the Logitech. YOu can get it from newegg.com for around $50

Just got the wife one, way cool & she can't wear off the white lettering with all her cackle e-mails like the POS eMachines keyboards
I've been using one for a few months. It's very good except for the angle - if you're not looking directly down or within 5-10 degrees, the lighting from BETWEEN the keys looks brighter and masks the light from the KEYS themselves - problem for keys around enter (punctuation, mostly). Still, you'd have to pry it from my cold dead hands!
I have purchased botb, kept the Logitech G15 for myself, gave the Saitek Eclipse II as a gift. Stebaconp go with the Logitech.
they keys also do light up and there is light around them as well, but i wish it was brighter. i usually have to use the purple on high to see the keys best
i think it expired. at least the newegg site has $50 plus $6 shipping
