NewEgg.com has the Saitek Eclipse 3 Keyboard on sale for $65 + $0 shipping = $65 shipped. This is the third iteration of the venerable Eclipse series of keyboards, and you can expect the best features of the previous models to still be there, as well as some improvements.

Does the paint come off the keys like the previous version?

I like red, but $65 for a keyboard! I can get like 80 of them at the dollar store for that price!

You're comparing the latest version of Saitek's gaming keyboard to a $1 keyboard? You really think they're the same thing? A Ferrari and a Hyundai are both cars. A Victoria's Secret lingerie model and an obese lady are both women. Is that it?

    #4 tamaya,

-- Well, Ben doesn't do much for his description in telling us one reason why this is supposedly an exceptional keyboard. He gave me no interesting reason to click on the ad to find out. $65 for ANY keyboard is still high.

For this Saitek Eclipse 3 Keyboard, I noticed a high number of people on newegg complain that some of their keys do not work even thou they gave it positive raitings. For this price range I would probably go with the Logitech new G15 keyboard which is a little bit cheaper (Geeks has it for $48 + shipping) and has an lcd screen.

I upgraded from a Saitek II to a Saitek Cyborg, which looks similar to the one posted here. If you are a gamer you will like it a lot.

Looks like the usual half-assed lighting. The one thing you need a keyboard to do and some of the keys don't work. Looks like the company is still crappy and getting worse with each new product. If money is no object, I like these.
