I use this monitor at home. If you like widescreen this is a great monitor.

I use this monitor at work, and it's great. The 16:9 ratio can be a bit strange to get used to, but with its max resolution you can open up full browser windows side by side. Its image quality is fantastic, also.

Very recommended.

Have either of you purchased refurbs or did you both just buy them brand new?

I have seen this monitor at MicroCenter and it's pretty impressive. Just wonder if the refurb would have the same impression.

Sorry I got it brand new. Don't know about refurb... I did just buy another one though (refurb). Great price. Costco has it for 250 I think.
