wow, 200 for a 23inch? a pretty good deal imo. looks like you will need a dual link DVI cable though, for native resolutions.

It works well enough even with a standard analog cable. I have two of these, one of the best monitors you can get below $300 in my opinion. The only thing I would have liked (although I may not have used) is speakers on the monitor.

I would suggest finding a similar monitor in a local store to look at before you buy as you might not like the dimensions of a 23" monitor. This thing has the width of a 24" with the height of a 19" making it very wide but not very tall.

#3 what you meant to say was it's 16:9 aspect ratio like a hi-def tv, rather than 16:10 like widescreen monitors generally were up until the last year or so. Most consumer panels have went to 16:9.

No, what I meant to say was that this monitor is very short for how wide it is and that's what I said.

That resolution figure is pretty good. #3 is right though, the size of these screens is no better than a 22" so the price should be similar.

16:9 good for TV, own more than one LCD so you don't have to settle for worse ratio during regular PC uses.

i just ordered this... im very excited. i was trying to decide between this one and 2333SW which is listed as $10 less (through dell), i decided on this one due to the higher resolution, but the 2333SW is a very good looking monitor.

thank you ben for listing the deals
