2048 x 1152 is 16/9 widescreen. Is text hard to read at this resolution? Anyone have any experience with this LCD?
That puts the dot pitch lower than normal since a normal 16:10 24" screen is 1920x1200. Not by that much, though.
Some people don't mind it but I dislike 23" monitors. They are not really any taller than a 22" but they are a decent bit wider so everything seems squished.
Basically you should try and go see one in person before you decide to buy, make sure it is something you'll like.
I really like this monitor for its real estate. The picture and color is great. I love watching movies on it as it is made for widescreen videos. I am considering buying another one...
