    ^ AFAIK, this one is guaranteed to be waterproof and the metal sheeting makes it a bit less flexible, more durable.

    I don't get this waterproofing business. Shouldn't your camera be water proof? What good is this going to do in a leaky camera?

    At this price, I'd stick with the SanDisk extreme sdhc cards. They're only about $10 more but have much higher throughput.

    Not necessarily. An ideal design would be but if not also shockproof, they can easily split apart at the edge seam. I'm not arguing for this product necessarily, unless you know your card might be subject to an unusual environment.
