I did not know that SD cards were susceptible to magnetic fields. You learn something new everyday (sometimes).
My car weighs less than 3200 pounds, so I guess that I can run over this card without ruining it. I doubt that I would though.
I don't want to be funny, but I store my SD card in my camera, so if this thing takes that much abuse, I just lost a camera

Go great with my Gopro. It is protected while in the camera, but when you change them out on the jet ski on something could come in handy.
I saw an internet story where a diver found a camera at the bottom of the ocean. A tourist had dropped it off a boat months earlier. They were able to recover the photos from the SD card. The article didn't mention whether or not it was marketed as waterproof. Maybe it is now.
I really don't care if the SD card is waterproof or bullet proof. I've just ordered an Asus Transformer tablet and need a 32 gig microSD card. So if somebody finds a great deal (like lesss than $30) on a 32 gig microSD card, please let me know. Thanks.
