wow not a bad price, great contrast ratio... but at 40" its a tweener... not quite a 42 but bigger than a 37. I wish i could use it, but no hd here yet...
This is not a bad deal. Samsung is among the top tier in quality. If I didn't already pull the trigger on an $800 dollar 42" tv I would probably go for this.
I certainly don't NEED another TV but at $699, I would 'cave in' and pull the trigger. You can't beat free shipping on a 40 inch LCD.
Pretty good deal!

used afl5 for additional 5% discount, total came out to $822.62 shipped
i would seriously consider this if i needed another tv.
Very tempting! Just wish it had a 89 viewing angle like my Dell LCD instead of 78
Wow, almost a year ago this was hovering around $2k. For a 1080p i can almost afford it now
Unfortunately I'm seriously considering this great deal, I just don't have the cash.
178-degree viewing angle NOT 78
#9 i think #6 might have been talking about degress from the center, not total viewing angle.
This deal is better than the one on BF at Best Buy.
Too bad I don't have the money to buy either.

Hard choice between this one and the panasonic 42" listed below...
ok, now it needs to be 600. This isn't even 120hz.
This is a great baconI'm in! Now that I've bought it, I'll win one (or the chance to buy one) from Amazon!
I would beware of 6ave. not great reputation
6ave sounds sorta shady.
im hoping black friday has some good deals on some 52s.
but this is a good price also.
wow the prices on LCD TVs are coming down so fast everyday.
6ave.com has a 7.88/10 rating on resellerratings.com for the past 6 months. it's a 8.23 for its lifetime.
