This really seems like a deal. What's the catch?
A reviewer on Amazoon:
"First call to Samsung 12/29 TV (Samsung model #LN46a500T)would not turn off kept coming back on, no sound from TV Speakers."
I was outside his window with my remote using the on/off and mute buttons - yuk yuk.
I got this for the same price in November during Black Friday week. They had it at Best Buy, Circuit City and others during that week for $800 + tax. I really like it. It does take about 12-13 seconds to power on, so I needed to program my Harmony Remote to wait for that. I also wish it had more than 2 HDMI input ports. I used those up on day 1, and now I'll have to buy a switch to add any other HDMI components. I already have a switch on it to pick between several composite inputs (N64, Leapster TV, VCR) and I've got my Wii hooked up with component cables. The Wii looks much better than on my old 35" analog TV. We're currently using the TV's speakers in a large room, and it's less than ideal. I'm looking for a cheap home theater system now just to boost the volume for our large room. Overall I'm very pleased.
