Agreed, wd black has been top pick for laptop (nonSSD) for a couple of years now.
It looks like most of the bad reviews were posted by the same disgruntled person. This is a low power drive, not a performance drive. Seems like a reasonable deal at $20 less than Scorpio Blue.
