This is a deal? It's the regular price!

    Nothing to see here...move along.

Hey, I almost bought this yesterday for $5 more. Glad I waited. Bought the Seagate 750, now I'll get the Samsung 750. What are the odds that both crash?

    #4, good one.

#1, A deal means a good price. It doesn't have to be "But that's not all. If you call within the next 30 minutes...". If the regular price dropped, it is worth knowing.

#3 the odds that both crash at the same time is pretty low, but unless you're not using raid.. this odds does not help.

#7, they wrap the drives in several thicknesses of bubble wrap, tape that closed and then put it in a box with styrofoam peanuts. In other words, not the best. But I've bought four or five drives from Newegg over the years and none of them came DOA.
