I can't watch porn on this.
Just get the PS3.....
get the 360 hd drive instead..
this is a decent price though
The only problem with the 360 hd-dvd drive is that it has to be attached to an XBOX 360. Two thirds of the people I know who have gotten a 360 have now gotten the red ring of death. Cost is $140 to fix it outside of warranty.
Total XBOX 360 cost has exceeded that of the PS3, which is not having anywhere near the same reliability problems.
Since I have neither, this unit sounds like a way to go for Blu-ray.
you can use the hd addon on your pc as well! it was definitely worth the investment for me
That sucks about those unfortunate people (the twbaconhird) but the HD add-on is the cheapest solution for High Def. movies right now.
You can use it on other devices besides the Xbox360. Curious, just plug it in. Windows automatically picks it up as a Toshiba drive as well as a Memory Unit (HD player have built in memory). You can get the drivers (legit) from Toshiba's websites or google it.
As far as cost outside of warranty. Xbox360 just upped their warrant to a year and anyone who had problem previously were receiving reimburments.
So not that bad.
I wish I had seen this deal before I purchased the PS3. I got it mainly for movies (motorstorm is nice) and getting this player is way cheaper.
