$125? Seems like a good deal, but what did the screw you on? Probably a 10-page starter toner set or something like that.
It's so cheap because it sucks. Don't waste your money.
For your info, Sammsung printer's starter toner is not bad. I got around 1000 pages (b/w word documents) out of the included cardtridge.
I have this, got it about a month ago. It's a great printer, especially at this price. Good quality color, apps that report when any toner is low, paper jams, etc. Connect via usb, ethernet or wireless. So far it's all good, not sure what crawled up #2s ass.
how much is the replacement toner?
$36 per cartridge (1000 pages per) x 4 cartridges (yellow, black, magenta, and cyan) without any deal.
No complaints with this printer. Very cost effective and pretty good quality prints
Only negative in reviews is the poor print quality and slow speed, kinda a deal breaker on a "Printer" In my book. Price is right otherwise.
Slow indeed, but very happy with print quality and wifi connectivity. Ordering refills now, before cartridges show empty.
Not sure what you guys are talking about. I have had this printer for about 6 months and it has been great. I haven't had any paper jams and the print quality is better than I expected.
The printer is fast, faster than any ink jet. The driver is great, it has one for b/w and one for color.
After I bought it 4 guys at work bought it as well and we all love it.
Great deal on a great printer.
Manual duplexing... deal breaker for me!
I prefer the iron gym which requires no drilling.
I actually have 4 of these - the non-wireless version. My kid used 1 for a year for college work; she replaced the black toner only once. Slow but plenty adequate for home use, and plenty fine print/graphics quality for schoolwork and home office. Never seriously tried photos and do not expect to. Love the tiny footprint! I liked it so much that when kid moved onto campus I got myself one for home use, then got a spare for each of us at some sale when the price approached that of the drum! Subjectively, plenty of life in the starter cartridges.
I do use a somewhat heavy paper, probably 24#; no jams since. Had one jam earlier, but it was probably the old paper.
A Chinese source on eBay sells a module which claims to override the toner lockout system; it installs with 6 wires on the mobo, not on the cartridge, and once installed takes reloaded cartridges but will not accept new OEM toners unless the cartridge chip is taped over. I have one of these modules but have not gotten around to installing it yet.
Great size. The thing really is small even for a b&w laser. The print quality is good enough, but not great. Wifi printing is nice.
Me, my friend and my brother all bought this on last Black Friday @<$100. Very very happy with this printer. Great quality and speed is good, don't know why people saying it's bad and slow. All 3 of us have not reported any toner is out yet. And my brother loves the print quality of the photos. $125 is still a good price. I feel that the print quality is just about the same as the huge printer in my office, maybe a bit worse. But @ this price, what do you want? I want duplex too. Just do manual duplex now.
