I hardwire this printer into my router so I can't speak to the wireless setup, but I have nothing bad to say about it. Not the fastest but I don't care, I no longer have to deal with HP inkjet printers that hold a teasponful ( literally 5cc ) of ink per cartridge. Color is very acceptable for a non photo quality printer ( it only has 3 color cartridges, not the 5 used in photo printers ). Nice web interface and a set of diagnostic/maintenance tools that even include tools for Linux, something I don't see very often.
I have CLX-3175FW, the multi-function version of this printer. Wireless setup is as easy as a laptop. Just find your wireless SSID, input pass code, then done. Nothing to worry about. The original set of toner is for only 1000 (or less) pages. My black toner ran out pretty soon though. The genuine Samsung black toner (now $37 on Amazon) for this machine provides 1500 pages, and there is no large capacity nor oem toner available.

#2 What about a refill kit like this one?

I am happy with mine. Bought for less, without the stupid points. My inkjet has dried up from nonuse.
#3 This doesn't include chips. Basically you need to refill your cartridge before the machine notices it's empty.
