So tired of this BS greenwashing that everybody is doing.

This isn't 'eco' anything. It's 5400RPM, so it saves power by going slower and just SUCKING.

So, I can make anything I want 'green' by making it lower performance so it uses less power and call it good. Pretty soon Intel will start half-clocking their chips and call them green. Car companies will start making gas tanks hold only half as much fuel so they can say they release half as much CO2 per tank than they did before. Companies will turn off the heat in their offices in the winter to be more green - cue Jacob Marley with little pot-stoves with a lump of coal in it.

God - I can't wait till we find a different fad to follow.
