I would, because of the part where it requires a new two-year contract or individual upgrade.

$100 difference to stick with the 2 year contract is not worth, i would say.

It's more like a $400 difference for a 2 year contract, since without a contract this phone is around $500. So your paying/saving about $17 per month by having a contract.

With the 900 min plan, unlimited texting, and 3gb data plan - that's $109/month.

Or you could go prepaid with something like simple mobile for $60/month (unlimited voice,text,2gb data), and buy the phone outright for a total monthly cost of $77.

No way in hell I'd ever go back to a contract. No surprises, and TAXES AND FEES ARE FIGURED IN. That $109 probably bills another $10 higher due to fee add ons.

I'm with you setrict. No more contracts for me either. The phone looks nice but I'm not going to leash myself to cell phone company just to save a few dollars up front; when I could be saving more in the long run.

If you are the kind of person who doesn't care about being on that contract though, go for it.
