Ben, you have a typo in your title - you have a free $10 refill card but it is for a $100 refill card. A BIG difference. Thanks.

I wouldn't go with T-Mobile. Worst customer service of all the cell companies. I bought a prepaid phone with free $50 airtime card offer. Card did not come with the phone, called them, arguing with several CS reps for 45 minutes before they finally accepted responsibility. Bastards!!

Turtles, every company has bad customer service experiences from customers. You just happened to get a bad one from T-Mobile. I've been with them for 10+ yrs and their customer service has been pretty good the few times I need to contact them. Of course, I'm not on prepaid so maybe the prepaid dept isn't on par. Reading the threads (LG Optimus L9) on another forum show most people still got the $50 prepaid card via a code with minimal efforts. Yes, it would be nice if all of this was all automatic without the need to contact CS but crap happens and if you get a screen capture of the deal, you are all set. Worst case, contact your credit card company to file a charge back with the screen capture. You can't lose.

WOW!, looky here, T-Mo gets more realistic by modifying it's pricing & coming down on several Phones for their PrePaid Plans. Thanks, T-MO. However, it's still not realistic enough for me. The sweet spot for me is the Samsung Galaxy SII at $350 with the $100 card. At Google you still get the Nexus 4 at $50 less then T-MO. T-MO should at least match the price when figuring in the $100 prepaid card.

WOW! T-MO Price cuts sure didn't last very long. They pushed up the prices on several of their Prepaid Phones over the weekend & are now back to the same old unrealistic pricing on older phones. So this will help Google [NEXUS 4] & Walmart [Galaxy S2] with sales of their Phones. Thanks, T-MO ;o)

Galaxy S Blaze is now $410 with ONLY a $50 Prepaid phone card, making the Deal now $60 more [$360] then previously listed.

T-MO's new Plans are pretty good for most consumers & T-MO's new Plans will allow saving even more money over the existing T-MO Plans, in most cases, & also over the pricier Plans from Verizon, AT&T, Sprint & others. However, the price of their Prepaid Phones is quickly going up to where competitors prices are better in many cases.

T-MO raises prices on most Prepaid Phones. Two popular Phones are the Google Nexus 4 which is now listed at $507 & the Galaxy S2 is now $463. Each comes with a $50 Prepaid phone card. You can get the unlocked Nexus 4 [16GB] on Google for $350 and the Galaxy S2 is only $350 with a $50 phone card at Walmart. So, you'd save about $110 on GOOGLE & $113 at Walmart over the higher prices at T-MO. T-MO does offer FREE shipping on their phones so you'd actually only save around $100 at GOOGLE & Walmart. And of course you can pay T-MO in $20 monthly installments until your Phone is paid for.
