It's Walmart, in my experience they'll take anything back. Since this is not a Walmart brand product you'll need a receipt.
i just picked one of these up for my dad and discovered two things in my research. 1) the reviews for the refurbished (i specifically checked for refurbished) are very good & 2) be careful about the $19 2 year Walmart protection plan. we bought it for peace of mind but found the wording to be quite contradictory. we still haven't figured out for sure if spills and drops are actually covered...
Got one of these new ~3 months ago from Costco, with a keyboard and USB adapter (the Student Edition combo), for $250. Works pretty good, but the touch screen isn't as accurate as on an iPod - I seem to mis-type more often on this, even though it has a bigger screen.
Walmart returns policy is awesome.
bestbuy will have this one for sale on black friday for $179 ( not refurbished)
