I thought this tablet was illegal because it's exactly like the Ipad.
The judge lifted the injunction after the jury did not find the Galaxy tab infringes on Apple iPad. The resolution of this tablet sucks... but the good thing it has over other newer tablets (iPad, Nexus, Kindle HD...) is the inclusion of the memory expansion via MicroSDHC.
I think it has an IR port so you can use it to control your a/v equipment.
The injunction only covered the Tab 10.1 even though the jury did not find that Samsung infringed upon Apple with regards to that particular tablet. Judge Koh has since lifted the injunction. This is obviously a 7" tab, not the 11
